Alaskan. Small business owner. Military mom.
I’m ready to work for District 1 on the Mat-Su Borough Assembly representing Palmer, Mile 1-8 Old Glenn Highway, South Knik River, Butte, Lazy Mountain, Fishhook, Sutton, and Chickaloon.
I’ve spent decades living and working in this community. Like so many families here, I understand what it means to work hard, make sacrifices, and stretch every dollar. I’ve seen firsthand what happens when local government talks more than it delivers, and I believe it’s time for practical leadership focused on getting things done.
I’m running because I believe in responsible spending, accountability, and keeping decisions focused on the people who live here. I’m not running to argue, pick fights, or disregard views I may disagree with. Families are already stretched thin, and the answer is not asking taxpayers for more money. It’s making local government work for us, spending wisely, and focusing on tangible results for our community.
I’ll listen to the people of District 1, focus on solutions, and work hard every day to keep our borough moving in the right direction.
A NOTE FROM MICHELLE
I’d love to hear from you
I am running to represent the broad voice of District 1, and work to deliver practical results for all of us. I am your neighbor, I live and work in District 1 and use the valley, just like you. I value your perspective in our community and want to hear from you.
